Inspired by Tai Chi and Taoism, these meditative poems explore cycles of returning, reshaping, and becoming.
A group of Tai Chi enthusiasts will demonstrate a graceful, flowing Tai Chi routine led by Louise during the book launch.

LOUISE LIU
Louise Liu is a Tai Chi instructor, translator, and painter living in Stratford. Her translation of the Urban Poetry Award–winning book Stratford Gems was published in 2025. She finds joy in bringing people together through culture, creativity, and shared experience.
POET:
HEIDI SANDER
Multi-award-winning poet, best-selling author, speaker and performer, Heidi Sander’s poems have appeared in literary journals, anthologies, multiple artistic collaborations and her bestselling poetry collections. She is the founder of “Pathways To Poetry”, a multimedia online program and membership that helps emerging and established poets develop their writing, publish their poetry, and promote their work.

Huong is a Vietnamese Canadian, grew up in Kitchener and relocated to Perth County in 2020. She is a career coach, and an emerging poet/spoken word artist, having performed at local open mics to JAYU Slams at the TIFF to Internationally at the Womxn of the World Poetry Slam.
